Mr. Shay, one thing is for sure, communism is a parasitic curse and economic lethal infection. They are constantly using affordable housing as their banner. We have had affordable housing almost all of my 75 years or life. The problem is that the people who are entitled to this privilege usually, within a ten year span, make it uninhabitable. They do nothing to help sustain their areas or home. They don't give to or add to beautify it. They live in it like a cage. Their living environment within a ten mile radius reflects their state of being also, Their quality of life becomes one like a barnacle. It ruins it for everyone else who does show effort. Write on Mr. Shay. One strange irony of your statement about Jew hating communists is that it is Jews in many ways who encouraged communism going all the way back to the French Revolution.
Again I advise the fair-minded among the Israel fans to separate the anti-Zionists from the anti-Semites. The anti-Zionists are still a clearly independent bunch, though I fear that this won't remain the status quo. Resentment of Israel is palpable among both parties and it's not going away.
There will be people who despise the policies of the Zionist state who will be mistaken (on purpose) for anti-Semites. But, even more unfortunately, theire will be anti-Zionists who are so sick of the lying and the genocide and the disproportional control of our government that they will actually become anti-Semites. I'm afraid otherwise lucid Israel supporters won't see that coming because they're already bunching the two groups together.
It's kind of like the people who are against BLM and Antifa and DEI and who are continually but incorrectly labelled as racists. As urban crime and Woke DEI nonsense intensifies, you will actually see real anti-black and anti-Somali and anti-Muslim conflict increase. But now you will start to see the fruits of actual racism, not just political division.
As in the case of the DSA voters, people are just sick of the nonsense. I myself can put up with the violent Israeli rhetoric and the Sharia rhetoric from Dearborn, Michigan. But I can't abide paying sixteen bucks for eggs and nine bucks for gas because Bibi likes the real estate market in Syria and Lebanon, and I can easily see people like myself boxed out of the housing market as property owners and renters evacuate New York and head for Connecticut, trying to get out from under the Socialist takeover.
Bottom line is that neither party has a solution for this. Otherwise we could stick this DSA genie back in the bottle and let the tired politicians from the 1900's like Cuomo and Adams try to work it out using the feeble urban renewal ideas of McGovern and Humphrey.
There is no question that the Democratic Socialists are an existential threat.
Not quite as old and venerable an existential threat, however, as the Democratic and Republican Parties.
Though I myself would burn my driver's license before I'd vote for a DSA candidate, the voters have clearly cast their ballot for the 'Nothing Left To Lose' candidate(s). The two old standards have sent them that message. They offered the hapless voters no better alternative. And the voters quite properly rejected them.
The reason I’m an independent is that I am not enamored with either of the two parties; however, I think that the DSA is a categorically different and much more dangerous threat. That’s my concern that they are all too likely to hijack one of our two major parties.
The best outcome of this would be that the Democrats become so radical that they become a permanent minority party. However, given the way that politics is going in this country, driven to a large extent by TDS and antisemitism, there is a material chance that these de facto communists will take the country over, and if they do, we are in serious trouble. As has been said you can vote your way into communism, but you have to shoot your way out.

unfortunately, crime keeps the rent low, unless may be inadvertently supported by those who live in the lower rent areas.
